About Football Digest

Hi all,

I’m a keen football follower, who is interested in all aspects of the game. It is a sport filled with intrigue and raises new issues and talking points on a daily basis. Please have a read of what I have to say and don’t be shy on commenting on what you may, or may not like about the site.

If you wish to contact me via email, my address is paulie187@gmail.com.

Many Thanks,

  1. Hi,

Sorry but I couldn’t find an email to contact you on. I came across your blog and enjoyed reading it, particularly the regarding Shawcross. As an Arsenal fan, who was at all three games where the injuries occurred, it is getting increasingly frustrating watching our players get broken and the fear is that it could cause Cesc to give up on English football.

However, I’m emailing because I’m working on a new game called Football3s. Football3s is a real-time game that you play whilst watching a live game on the television and the action on the pitch directly relates to the action in the game. You can take a look at http://football3s.com if you’d like.

We’re covering both the England and Ireland games this week so if it sounds like you’re sort of thing you’ll be able to play tonight. If you do play we’d love to know what you think.

Also, as the game relies on live data, we get a lot of match stats that I thought you might be able to use in match reports especially as we’re covering every game at the World Cup. During the game every single action is recorded, including interceptions, failed passes, and tackles and I thought these might help you analyse the game a little deeper.

If the game sounds interesting or you’d like the stats just send me an email and I’ll show you where you can get them and examples of match stats from past games we’ve covered.

    • Hi Olly,

Apologies for the late response, thanks for the feedback, I’m glad you enjoyed it. It was a terrible tackle, whether he meant it or not, but hopefully we’ll see Ramsey back on the field soon

I didn’t get too see the internationals during the week, but I’ve had a look at the game, it looks very interesting. It is certainly something I will be having a look at over the coming weeks.
